Livermore Schools Open on Thursday October 12th

All Livermore schools will follow inclement weather procedures on Thursday, October 12th, limiting outdoor exposure of students and staff. Except for walking to classes, all outdoor activity before and during school hours is canceled.

We will be implementing the following precautions:

  • PE, recess, and breaks will be held indoors.
  • Lunch will be held indoors.
  • Windows and doors will be kept closed.
  • Staff will be very mindful of students and other staff members who are sensitive to air quality.

Safety continues to be our utmost priority. We are monitoring the air quality and will continue to keep our community updated as conditions change.  While other schools closer to the fires may have decided to close, Livermore schools remain safe places for students and staff.
