“Our District has been awarded Top Workplace four times. Considering the broad competition, this is an especially prestigious award for a public school district and clearly illustrates the accomplishments of our motivated and engaged teachers, staff, and administrators.

OUR MISSION SETS US APART
Each student will graduate with the skills needed to contribute and thrive in a changing world.

This mission drives our daily work.  Our dedicated employees, led by our Superintendent, Dr. Kelly Bowers, and our Board of Trustees, work together to create a nurturing environment for all students to succeed.  Throughout our district, we share an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement.  We integrate character development in all we do.  We teach students the communication and collaboration skills to work as a team, and the creativity, tenacity, and critical thinking necessary to solve the problems of the future.

LIVERMORE VALLEY JOINT UNIFIED IS A DESTINATION DISTRICT.

Our students, staff, and community join together to build a bright future.

LVJUSD Honor Roll

Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is proud to list our schools that have achieved state and national recognition:

The California Gold Ribbon Schools Award is given by the California Department of Education to honor outstanding public schools that demonstrate exemplary achievements in implementing state standards. The California Distinguished Schools Program is on hiatus as California continues its transition to new assessment and accountability systems. The Distinguished Schools Program established in 1985 honored public schools that showed improved student outcomes as measured through Standardized Testing and Reporting scores and additional measures. Approximately five percent of California schools are awarded this honor each year following a rigorous selection process.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups
