Thank You for an Amazing Year!

The 2015-2016 school year has been a year of many impressive accomplishments. Thank you to everyone for your hard work! Together, we passed the Measure J Facilities Bond, which will make a meaningful impact for all students in the District for years to come, allowing us to upgrade and modernize our school classrooms and campuses; Granada High School received full authorization to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme; Technology Integration Specialists brought best practices into the classroom; students from all schools participated in Science Odyssey; Pathways to a Bright Future was expanded to all K-8 and middle schools; State testing proceeded smoothly and gave our students an opportunity to shine; the Livermore Valley Education Foundation and the Harlem Wizards brought our District together for an amazing community event; second grade students experienced an engaging Shakespeare Program provided by the Livermore Shakespeare’s Associates, and 935 high school seniors graduated with the skills needed to contribute and thrive in a changing world. You — our parents, employees and community partners — enable our District to flourish. I am continually impressed with the selfless contributions of your time, talents, and energy that positively impact EVERY child in our District.  You all have positively influenced our LVJUSD students and I thank you.  Read on...
