HIGH SCHOOL EXIT EXAM RETAKES SCHEDULED
Members of the Class of 2008 and the Class of 2009 who have not yet passed both parts of the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) may retake the test on Tuesday, August 29 (English) and Wednesday, August 30 (Math). Click HERE for more information and registration instructions.
FACILITIES DEPARTMENT HAS MOVED TO 1040 FLORENCE RD.
The Facilities Department has permanently moved to 1040 Florence Road in Livermore. This is the old Arroyo Mocho site.
HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION PHOTOS

FACILITIES FUNDING NEEDED
Any homeowner can tell you that the list of projects always outstrips the budget. The District is no different. Funding from Measure L, a bond providing funding for school construction and renovation, has been spent. However, a $65 million list of crucial projects remain. KIDANGO PRESCHOOL TO OPEN AT ALMOND AVENUE SITE
Facilities at the Almond Avenue School site are being prepared for a child care and preschool program to be operated by the Kidango organization. Kidango offers child care and child development services to children and support services to their families. Kidango is a private, nonprofit agency providing a variety of services to children and families in Alameda, Santa Clara, and San Francisco Counties. DISTRICT OFFICE CLOSED FRIDAYS IN JULY
The District Office will be open Monday through Thursday in July.
ARTIFICIAL TURF AT LHS AND GHS IS SAFE
A recent article in local newspapers discussed dangerous levels of lead in artificial turf produced by certain vendors. The District wants to assure our athletes and parents that the artificial turf fields at Livermore and Granada High Schools do NOT use turf from these vendors. LIVERMORE STUDENTS PERFORM WELL ON API
The Academic Performance
Index (API) reports released last
month by the California Department
of Education (CDE) show
that Livermore schools performed
well in statewide

DISTRICT LEVEL SERVICES RETURNING TO JACK LONDON BLVD.
The Superintendent Offices and Students Services will return to the 685 East Jack London address on June 23. Already at that address are the Warehouse, Food Services, Special Education, and Information Support Services. All other district level services will remain at 1040 Florence Road in Livermore until June 30. As of June 30th, all district level offices will be open for business at the Jack London address.
