EVENT WINNERS
February 16, 2009
| Junction Avenue Middle School conducted its 23rd Annual Academic Olympics, with team competitions in math, science and social studies, and individual competitions in oral interpretation, public speaking, and creative writing. Over 100 students participated in an exciting afternoon of academic competition, culminating in a dinner prepared by the Livermore Mosaic Masonic Lodge and the Junction Avenue PTA. The sighting of the lunar eclipse was an added attraction before the awards ceremony in which all the winners of the competitions were announced.
